Aplo processes number plates, and a number plate identifies a car that belongs to a person. We treat that seriously, and this page says plainly what happens to it.

01

What is collected

For a parking operator running Aplo: number plate reads and their timestamps, the camera frame that produced them, parking sessions, payments, and the customer records an operator chooses to keep — name, contact details, vehicles, subscriptions. For a visitor to this website: nothing beyond what your browser sends to load the page, and whatever you type into the contact form.

02

Why it is collected

To open, price and close parking sessions; to take and reconcile payment; to enforce a lot's own rules on overstays and access; and to produce the records an operator is legally required to keep. Nothing is collected in the hope it becomes useful later.

03

Who is responsible

The parking operator is the data controller for everything their lot records. Aplo is the processor, acting on their instructions. If you parked somewhere and want your data, ask the lot — and if they need help getting it out, they know where to find us.

04

Where it lives, and for how long

On servers in the European Union. Detections and their frames are kept for as long as the operator's retention setting says and no longer. Financial records are kept for the period Greek tax law requires.

05

Who else sees it

Nobody outside the processors required to run the service — hosting, payment settlement, and the SMS and email carriers that deliver an exit link. We do not sell data, and there is no advertising anywhere near it.

06

Your rights

Access, correction, deletion, portability and objection, as set out in the GDPR. Write to us and we will route it to the right controller and help them answer within the statutory month.
